the challenge

Introduce America to a chicken sandwich (for breakfast!) via a viral, game-oriented website.

how?

“What Came First?” allowed users to upload a photo and challenge their friends in a dance-off. The uploaded photo was placed on top of an animated chicken or egg, with the friend taking the opposing role, and the two characters performed danced based on the user’s chosen moves. The winner was determined by the order of moves chosen.

key technologies

XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flash AS3 for site structure and content. Flash AS3 and XML data for dancing sequences. PHP for viral components and game leaderboard.
